Any Volunteers/Marshals could you please make your way to the Marshal Co-ordinator tent on the day to collect your Hi-Viz and possibily a Radio from Neil Armstrong. He will be found at a tent at the start/finish area. Sign On Team can go directly to their spot and no need to check in with Neil.

Below is the current spreadsheet with plenty of spaces available for people to volunteer. Please email richard@dromaracc.co.uk or pm me on facebook and tell me when you can marshal and I can add you in. If there are any mistakes then please shout at me as well.

On Saturday from 10am we are looking people to come down and help out doing the final finishes to the course so bring a rake if you have one. There will be plenty of tape to put up and feel free to bring your bike as the course will be open for free practise from 2pm on Saturday.

S = Sign on team.  Two or more people.  Riders just need to sign, pick up their envelope and possibly up to 2 pit access wristbands.  Tea & coffee will be available in this room laid on by ourselves.
C = Marshal control – this will be a club gazebo with someone permanently inside.  The person inside would give out hi-viz vests, radios, food vouchers, assign marshals to a location.  Marshals should “clock on” and “clock off” at this gazebo.
T = Timekeepers – We could do with a couple of people here to ensure the timekeeping works well.  Bell ringers, flag wavers, number callers.
Point 1 – entrance lane.  Needed for the early part of the day to allow caterers, ambulance, VIP access and forestry access onsite.  Point all others to the main car parks.  Can be left once we get the racing underway.
Point 2 – controls access to the course letting riders on when appropriate, pointing pedestrians towards crossing point 3, pointing riders to the call up zone.
Point 3 – it would be good to have marshals on either side of this pedestrian crossing of the course.  Gates to be erected on each side.  Needs to be manned during all races and during practice times.  Essentially controlling traffic across the course.
Point 4 – road crossing.  2 marshals would be good here, one on each side of the barriers.
Point 5 – marshal watching the steps and log jump to monitor how this is working.
Point 6 – outside the scout changing area.  A busy place with pedestrians.  Controlling crossing to point 4.  Giving directions to pedestrians to use Field 2 to get to the lower field.
Point 7 – controlling access to the tarmac lane.  We want to keep pedestrians away from this lane.  Ensuring riders turn here and head towards the steps at Point 5.
Point 8 – monitoring riders coming out of the field, controlling walkers approaching point 8 from the forest.
Point 9 – controlling access to the pits.  Only people with pit access wrist bands should be in here.
This is just a guide and may change as the day goes.
