Dromara CC celebrated its 30th year in 2016 and what a year it has turned out to be. Yet again we have an Ulster Champion in our ranks as well as a range of riders moving up through the off-road & road categories. We cannot forget the great work done by the Leisure group flying the Dromara CC Flag at all the sportives as well as making it out to Majorca for their summer training camp. Dromara CC has a tremendous range of athletes and every now and again some of them has a crazy idea to do things like the Fred Whitton Challenge and of course the Miglia Italia (1000 mile race…..let me state that again..its a 1000 mile race).
The awards night was yet again a great celebration of a very competitive year for Dromara CC. A special mention should go to Aaron Watson for picking up the Club League Trophy, Emma Johnson for cleaning up on the trophy front this year and Paul Gick for services to the club. All well deserved and I am sure plenty of riders gunning for those trophies next year.
The photos of the night can be found here and the list of winners can be found here.
