With the Club League all to play for the big guns headed to the start line. An Irish National Podium Placer and a former (not ex) MTB National Champion to name but a few. Rumours had been circulating that a certain Roadie might have a chance of club league victory so clearly he was plotting a classic tactic of time keeping meaning young Kellett would need to finish top 3 to take the honours. The handicap fairy has been studying form very closely to create a very close race.

With the first lap over Paul M was broke away on his own although with every lap his concern that the chasers were closing in became a reality. With Barry K over excited on the first lap he manage to settle down and charge through the next two laps. On his last lap he put a great effort to finally pip Davy B however it wasn’t enough to catch the fast racing Paul M who took his first Club League victory of the season. Ben continued his streak of breaking stuff on his bike by slicing the rear tyre stopping him on the last lap. Behind the top 3 the competition was close and sets up an intriguing Championship Round at the end of next month.

Pictures can be found here and full results are on the notice board. The Final Club league table will also be put there, but the picture beside shows that the champion was pleased with his nights work. Awesome Riding!
