Finally the Club League night managed to supply a warm dry night ready for TT’ing. This round see’s this first of the 2 Up TT’s which have been dominated by the Magowans. This year has seen the younger side of Dromara CC flourishing and producing some very fast individuals, having said that the auld lads of the club aren’t slowing down too much. The lurgan road always produces decent times and that didnt change with David Dickson & Matthew Armstrong producing the goods and taking the fastest time of the night with 22:24. The Magowans have certainly not relinquished their two up crown just yet and were second by only 9 secs. The third team of the night was Nathan Mullan and Ronnie Smyth, Ronnie is in a rich vain of form certainly was taking this seriously as the turbo was out for the warm up. This sort of preparation certainly paid off as they took the third fastest time at 22:41. With only 17secs splitting the top 3 teams the second 2 Up will be very interesting.

The ride of the night must go to the Broome Duo with rumours that Davy Broome is just testing out his new lead out train. A really fantastic effort considering it isn’t the flattest of courses. This train can only get faster so may be something to watch out for at the next 2 up TT.
All and all a great night and you can find the photos here. Next round is on Wednesday night 11th May at Warrenpoint. The results are below:
