MTB Club League Kicks off in the Mud
With the Road Club League kicking off on Thursday it was the turn on the MTB Club League to get started. On Thursday the weather was perfect for road racing and some would argue that the rain on Friday was perfect for MTB’ing. With all this rain caused the first venue option to be changed at the last minute but this didn’t stop a great turn out on a truly filthy night, Thankfully the rain seemed to almost stop by the time we started so we only got soaked from the ground up. Really good racing, Cowan sneaks another win on the offroad scene… Roadie tactics coming through to just pip Paul Hamilton in a finish line sprint, with Peter Davison collecting another podium for the weekend.
Behind there was tough battles all the way to the line which bodes well to a very competitive Club League. Next week it all starts again – See you at the start line.
