CycloCross Stars take on the World
It was only a couple of weeks ago when we had the Irish CX nationals at Tollymore. In that David Conroy won the Juniors and David Montgomery was the U23 winner. Cycling Ireland have chosen to select both for the CX World Championships to be held in Zolder, Belgium this weekend.
When do they race I hear you ask:
Saturday: Junior Men: 10:00am – Conroy takes to the start line
Saturday: Women: 1:00pm
Sunday: U23 Men: 10:00am – Monty takes to the start line
Sunday: Men Elite: 1:00pm
If you are looking to view it live then it will be streamed live on youtube – search for the ucichannel. I hear that there are a few Dromara CC Members heading over to sample the atmosphere and cheer our very own cyclocrossers. Looking forward to the report and pictures when they get back.
