Annaclone GP kicks off the Road Racing Season
Its been a long winter for the road racers forced out on a winter bike or stuck on the turbo going nowhere. As we come into February the excitement builds as Annaclone entries open.
Lets hear how our Dromara CC Spokesperson feels about the race:
With it being the first race of the season Dromara CC were out in force even if the temperatures hadn’t risen much above freezing. The A1/A2/A3 race saw Nathan and Zak in a top quality field with Zak finishing in the top 20 which is a great start to the season.
In the A4 race saw the majority of DCC riders taking part with David D and Graham B unlucky to be caught up in a big spill that split the A4 race in two. Thankfully neither badly hurt and no doubt will be ready to race again.
Many thanks to all the support today from the saturday crew as well as Team motivators/Guru’s/Clothes Holders (Deek & Gary B).
Many thanks go to Banbridge Cycling Club for an excellent organised event. Next week is the John Moore Memorial Race up at Carryduff with another strong Dromara CC entry. First race starts at 10am.
