Magowan takes fastest time but McIIhone scores maximum points
A big turn out of 43 riders ready to test their skills over the testing 10 miles of the Downpatrick Road. The rain held off and the wind well it was terrible as always according to the time triallers. With such a large number of riders the gaps had to be reduced to 30 secs and everyone got off before the first rider finished.
Clearly there has been a lot of training which is strange because everyone I speak too isnt training at all and are just taking it easy. Some great times tonight with quite a few PB’s again. The club league is hotting up as we move on to Round 9 next week.
Many thanks to the timekeeping crew – Chris M, Kevin W, Ruth B and to Richard C for the photos, Stephen W for keeping the riders off the road (and holding the bikes up) and young Mr Gibson for holding the umbrella.
Thanks to the marshals at the turn, Paul M, Mike B and Noel G. Thanks to the catering crew Sam and Olivia.
