Christmas Run 2008

Before heading off


Almost 40 Dromara riders and guests gathered for the annual Christmas club cycle on a frosty Sunday morning.  The riders all set off from Dromara village at 10 am and headed to Ballynahinch then onto Annahilt.  The main group split into smaller groups depending on fitness levels.  It was then all back to Dromara for 12:30 with only a few minor mishaps along the way including a couple of minor falls on icy patches.  Back in Dromara the riders headed into the restaurant, Square One, where they were able to enjoy the heat of an open fire, hot stew, wheaten bread as well as tea and coffee.  Once settled it took quite some time before the riders ventured back out into the cold to head home.  Many thanks to the staff at Square One.  The grub was great.
