SPELGA CAT 1 AT 42 MILESThe
longest climb of the day. Although starting around the “S”
bends, the climb alternates between steep and steeper as it heads up
past the “Electric Brae” and major dam to the hart of the Mourne
mountains. This is the highest point of the Hilly 125, now follows a
wonderful three mile decent.
