1.7 mile TT - Gall Bog Road (map)

A new event for the club, a short (under 2 mile) one-way time trial done as a "2-up". Riders worked in pairs to blast along a short circuit giving everything they have across, in this case, the 1.7 mile distance. The riders started at the Gall Bog bar and finished at the give way sign at the end of the Gall Bog. The time was taken when the second rider had crossed the line. As this was a 2-up TT no time trial specific bikes were allowed nor any clip on TT bars.
Fastest team on the night were the visitors Terry Mackin and Gareth Rodgers from neighbouring club Banbridge CC in a time of 3 minutes and 45 seconds. Next fastest and first of the Dromara CC riders was the pairing of Barry Kellett and Nathan Mullan in 3:50. John Clyde and Trevor Wright set a time of 3:54 with brothers Chris and Gavin Magowan the only other pair to finish under 4 minutes (3:56).
