16 mile Individual Time Trial - Ballynahinch -> Hillsborough

Round 7 of Dromara CC's club league and the first of the 16 mile time trials took place on Thursday evening. The event started just outside Ballynahinch and riders headed towards Hillsborough turning at the upmarket housing development, Governor's Gate. This round was the first this year to have poor weather conditions with riders arriving to drizzly rain but thankfully the wind was not too strong. Due to the weather there was a reduction in the number of riders taking part, and an increase in the number of riders wanting to marshall !! Among the fourteen who braved the conditions was Stephen Heasey (Lantern Rouge) and Alan Reid (Dromara) who completed his first time trial with the club.
