Membership fees for 2013

Membership of Dromara Cycling Club comes in two parts - A licence fee to cover insurance through the cycling governing body, Cycling Ireland and a fee to the club itself.

The fee for joining Dromara cycling club for 2013 is £10 for all riders aged 18 or over. There is no fee for riders aged under 18 to join the club.
This membership cost is in addition to all licences listed below. Details of the benefits of obtaining a cycling licence is shown in the table.

This year Cycling Ireland have continued with their introductory offer of £13 for a non-competition membership. This covers riders for all leisure, training and non competitive cycles. It is only available for new Cycling Ireland members and will only apply for their first year of membership (it will then revert to the standard fee in subsequent years).
Also note that there is a refund of 50% off the membership fee paid for all full-time third level students who are not in receipt of a salary. This must be claimed in writing and a copy of a 2012/13 student ID card attached.
A refund of 50% of the membership fee paid is given to all second level students, who take out a full competition senior licence and who are not in receipt of a salary. This must accompanied by a letter from the school registrar to confirm that the student is in full time education.
